Barrel Aged Ljung is a mead made from Heather Blossom honey that is aged in bourbon barrels that previously held Imperial Stout and Barleywine. Aroma is pure honey straight from hive, like eating honey from comb. Rich sweet floral heather honey with waves of vanilla and a hint of oak. This mead is an experience. These are not inexpensive and definitely a treat, but these bottles can be opened and enjoyed in small pours for months.
